Sunday Funday

I love Sundays! Especially when Dylan gets to be home all day. We missed seeing him all day Saturday and then he has worked all week long until late so today was so nice to just relax as a family. The kids really love having him home.  We went to the Poppy Seed Festival in Georgetown today and then spent the evening with his parents and little brother.

Have I mentioned that I love the Poppy Seed Festival? I didn't even buy anything but I just love the atmosphere that festivals bring- the booths, the food, the balloons, face painting, snow cones etc. I just bought the Sit N Stand stroller this week and was excited to try it out with the kids. It is incredible! I am so excited to finally have a way to take the kids shopping, to festivals and not have to worry about potentially carrying one of them when they get tired. It is hard enough to drag myself around these days much less carry them.

Carly got to get her face painted, she picked a rainbow and even got a flower balloon from one of the Shriner clowns. We ate snow cones and just browsed all the booths. I love getting ideas, most of the time I don't end up making things but it is nice to get the ideas just in case I decide to do it.

Clay has really been needing another hair cut and I have been neglecting to take him. Dylan remembered that one of our neighbors had mentioned that he cut hair so when we got home he got him to come over and cut it. Not only is it so much cuter than the first time but it was significantly cheaper too. We found out that he is a barber at the Rooster's in Cedar Park. Total score on our part, the boys can now can get haircuts from home!! Clay did so much better this time too.

Now Clay is asleep and Carly is watching one of her new favorite shows with daddy........Home Improvement. Pretty sure it is Dylan's favorite show but Carly seems to have adopted all the things Dylan likes lately which is really sweet.  She asks to watch either that or American Pickers with him every night now. I love it.
Hope you all had a great weekend!
