So its not a secret that I love our little library so very much. I mean without it I would be lost here. I still haven't made a whole lot of close friends in this town and the few that I have gotten close to have come from the library.
Friday we got to go and meet Santa. He was amazing and the kids enjoyed it. Clay was his normal crazy self and was the first to go sit with him. Carly is getting so shy and embarrassed lately. She didn't want to sit in his lap and would barely talk to him. Claire was apprehensive at first but then warmed up and loved him. This was Jojo's first experience with Santa and he was in love with the beard. So much so that he pulled it down. Thankfully there were no other kids in the library at the time and mine didn't see it happen.
Our Librarian is so cool. She busted out all the cotton balls and had a snowball fight with the kids. They loved it once they realized they could join in and make a mess.
Feeling so very thankful for our little town and our little library. Such a blessing to us.
