Pumpkin Patch and Wedding Craziness

 This year will mark Carly's 4th Halloween and therefore her 4th year at the Leander Pumpkin Patch with my BF Corinne's little girl Kayden. I love that we have a picture of our girls every year here. It has become tradition. Now we get to start doing it with our boys and with the mini's as well. It is so great that our kids are the same age, it means that they always have a friend when we go places and no one gets left out. I can't wait till we can take family vacation together. The lady at the pumpkin patch asked if we purposely had our kids together.....which is really funny considering we didn't and even if we had I think it is crazy that they are all the same sex.

I had the privilege this weekend of being my best friend Candice's matron of honor when she got married. Candice and I have been friends since high school when we played volleyball together and then became roommates at A&M. 

Her and her now husband Kris got married downtown at the Driskill Hotel Saturday night.  She was such a beautiful bride and the wedding was so nice. The food was delicious and there was even some fun spooky ghost excitement to make it even better. 

We started out the fun Thursday night by going to dinner with one of our other friends from High school. We went to Baby A's and got drinks and ate some good Mexican food. 

Friday we went and got manicures and pedicures. I sadly have not had a manicure in probably 4 or 5 years so it was a real treat. I felt like I should apologize to the nail lady for my awful bitten up nails. So embarrassing but now they look amazing! 

Saturday we got our hair and makeup done at my house before heading downtown for the real fun. 

Her wedding was short and sweet and the reception was a blast. It was so fun to catch up with old friends and meet her work friends who I hear about all the time. I love Candice's family and have not seen them in over 5 years so was so wonderful to spend  time with them.

One of my favorite parts was watching my mom get out on the dance floor. She loves to dance but rarely does it anymore. She buddied up with Candice's Aunt and they went to town. I love that she was able to cut lose and have a good time. Seriously love my mama. 

It has been such a great week and weekend. Still trying to clean the house and get back into the swing of real life after Dylan being the primary caretaker of the kids for 3 days. As nice as it was to be able to have freedom and spend time with my friends I sure did miss my babies.
