4 months

Claire is 4 months old today! She is such a big girl and makes me so proud. I took her to the doctor today for her well check and she has finally made it onto the growth chart!

Height: 21 3/4 inches   still less than 2%
Weight: 11 lbs 1 oz         3%
Head: 38 cm                    5%


I talked to the doctor today and we are going to hopefully be able to get her the synagis shot! It is a medication to prevent RSV, which is super bad news and I am terrified of her getting it.  I am seriously going to be putting my kids on lock-down again after all the wedding craziness that is happening in October. And be for-warned that if you want to spend time with Claire or any of the Thompson kids you better get your flu-shot!!!

Overall she is doing so well and is even doing a few of the things that a normal 4 month old should. I almost don't even realize that she is behind anymore. Obviously there are still some areas that she still feels a lot younger in than her peers but for the most part she is just thriving. She is just ready to start playing with the big sis and bro. She is the happiest baby and by far my most smiley out of all my kids. You just have to make eye contact with her for her to smile and light up.

On another note, Dylan has been working out on our land a lot and is starting to clear the trees out. We went out the other day to hang with him and the kids helped him pick up sticks etc. Too bad they aren't a little older so we could really put them to work.

 Be out there and seeing the changes in the land make me so ready to sell our house and get to Burnet. I love the town so much and obviously my mama is there which makes me even more ready.  We are slowly starting to fix our house up now so that when the time comes we are able to sell it. So if anyone wants to come paint or put in new floors we are your family. We will even let you do it for free!
