I seriously couldn't have had a better Mother's Day weekend. Dylan took me to get my new "mommy" car on Saturday. We needed to get something a little bigger and something a little more convenient for when Claire gets here. I know I shouldn't get attached to a goofy car but I loved my Explorer and woke up Saturday a little sad that it was the last time I would drive it. I made the kids take a picture with it because it was their first car and our first family car. The car we brought them both home from the hospital in.
The kids of course didn't know nor care what was happening. They stayed with Mimi while Dylan and I left on our 5 1/2 hour adventure at the dealership. Did I mention I HATE car dealerships......they take forever!! Luckily things went smooth and we were able to drive my Gray Toyota Sienna home. I am in love, seriously love this car. Never thought I would want or get a minivan but my opinion of them has changed. Isn't it beautiful!
We got to spend Saturday night with Dylan's parents and brother Moose going out to eat at Chili's.
Sunday I woke up to awesome handmade cards by my kids and a super sweet letter from my awesome Husband. Carly and Dylan made me breakfast......eggs, biscuits and bacon.... my favorite!
Then we played and did house work until the evening when my mom came over. Together we cooked our favorite meal, Chicken Fried Steak and Mashed Potatoes and Gravy. I got to end my night watching Dylan and the kids play tackle football in the front yard. ;)
Can't wait till next year when I have all three of my babies to spend it with!
