We got to start our weekend off Saturday with a trip to San Saba. The Atmos boys signed up to be a part of their Lighted Christmas parade. It was so much fun!! We all got to ride on the trailer decorated with Christmas lights and a sleigh. The kids got to ride on the sled and sing Christmas carols which was great at first but got a little old after the 15th time of Rudolph the Red Noised Reindeer. For a small town like San Saba, I was surprised at how big the parade was and just how many people lined the streets to watch. It was super cold but the kids didn't care, they were having too much fun.
At the last minute Clay decided he wanted to drive the truck with Dylan which I know Dylan loved. Lil' Bear loved getting to wave and tell everyone hi, and didn't stop the entire time.
We also got to have a little visit with Santa while we were there. This was Claire's first year and surprisingly she didn't get upset. I am in love with her picture with him.
Then Sunday night we went to Main Street Bethlehem at the First Baptist Church here in Burnet. It was super crowded and with little kids kinda sucked but is so much fun. Love getting to step back into that time and get a glimpse into what the world was like. The kids love the animals and getting to see baby Jesus at the end.
The kids were having fun playing in the parking lot while we waited in the ridiculously long line.

This Roman Solider gave me a look that made my knees weak when we tried to take our picture with him! |
Making leather pouches. Everyone loved Clay's Shrek hat. He is always a big hit when he wears it. |
It was a perfect weekend and I am so thankful for the First Baptist Church and the free gift they give the community. Such a great way to spread the Gospel and to remind us what we are really celebrating.
