Thanksgiving

So of course I have my camera at all the Thanksgiving dinner parties and yet did not get it out once to take a picture. I did get one of the kids before we left Thursday for my sisters in the Thanksgiving shirts I made them.

We had a great holiday. My favorite part of Thanksgiving is the Macy's Parade and the amazing food. This is the first year since I have been alive that I have watched the parade at my house instead of my moms. I love everything about the Parade and hope that one day my kids will as well. To get Carly excited we were telling her all the characters that would be in the parade.  She asked me if Barney would be there and of course I told her no, because I don't really ever remember Barney being in the parade in recent years. We put her to bed early because we had to be at my sisters early and of course 7 minutes after she was in bed Barney AND Yogi Bear were together on the same float. I felt so bad, I wanted to go wake her up and show her, but thankfully Dylan talked some sense into me.

This is also the first year since I have been alive that we did not have Thanksgiving at my mom's house. My sister Amy hosted this year at her house in Hutto. It was wonderful being with all the family and the food was great. All the cousins had a great time playing together!

We then celebrated with Dylan's family on Friday at his parents with his brothers and mom's family. Dylan built a tree swing for Carly which ended up being really fun and will make a great memory.

We have so much to be thankful for this year and I am so truly blessed to have such an amazing husband and two wonderful babies. I hope you all had an amazing Thanksgiving as well!
