Messy Monday Summer Edition

Messy Monday this month was just a big water day. We had 40 kids show up and 15 adults.  It has come a long way from my first Messy Monday. I had this great vision for what I wanted it to be. I wanted all ages of kids coming together and doing messy projects that parents don't want to do at home. Or playing outside in mud and getting to just be messy boys. It has slowly evolved over the last year and we now have a great group of parents and kids that come.

We had the water slide set up, plus our super cool new slip-in-slide, water balloons and water guns.  Of course no Messy Monday is complete without Dylan's signature mud pit. By the end of the day it was super muddy and disgusting. The kids loved it. Always the highlight. It started at 10:30 and there were still some people hanging at 4:00.

Everyone packs a lunch and we just do picnics on the lawn. Its my favorite part. Carly's best friend goes to public school but we made her come play too.

Next month is a food fight so get excited for those pictures!
