Clint is Two!

I seem to have forgotten how fun life is with a two year old. Clint is by far the biggest hand full out of all the Thompson kids but I might have to say he is the most fun right now. He drives me crazy, makes me want to hide in the bathroom, brings to me frustrated tears on my bedroom floor but also makes me smile and has the best personality.

We have started a new tradition this year of no big birthday parties.  Instead we just celebrated and did all the things that he loves to do and ate all the things he loves to eat.

We started with his 2 year Well Check that morning. He is the tiniest little shrimp.... only 17% for height and weight.

When we got home we made a brownie cake.  He loved watching Carly make it and waited ever so patiently to lick his spoon.

We got him his very own tough man big wheels. He loves it and loves to put things in the secret seat compartment.

When Dylan came home we drove to Kingsland to get Gatti's pizza for dinner. Gammy came over and ate with us and shared birthday brownie cake.

It was a relaxing, amazing day celebrating our littlest treasure.

Here are some of my favorite things about the JoJo man.

1.  When asked what his name is he will reply, "Me"
2.  He loves to give kisses to everyone before nap..... including his puppy.
3.  He loves our neighbor across the street so much that he watches his house through out the day to see if he is outside.
4.  He loves to feed and play in the chicken coop. He has been known to chase the chickens with a stick.
5.  He would stay outside all day if we let him. He frequently climbs out the doggy door to play when he knows that he is not allowed.
6.  Mowing with Dad is one of his favorite pastimes.
7.  He comes to bed with us at 4am almost every morning. I act like I hate it but secretly look forward to it every night.
8.  He loves tools of all kinds. Any time that my Dad comes over he steals all of his tools: tape measure, level, drill, screwdriver etc. He is pretty good at knowing what all of them do too. He loves to "help."
9.  His favorite food is yogurt and he steals multiple cups of it daily.  He has started throwing away all of our spoons when he eats it. We are now down to 3 spoons. :/
10.  He is still super shy and won't go to anyone other than a select few. Unless you have candy.... then he doesn't know a stranger. :)
