Super Duper Christmas

Today was our Christmas Program at church.  The 3 bigger kids were all a part of it. Carly got to do her first solo on one of the songs. Clay was a shepherd and Claire was an angel. It was one of the cutest and best programs I had seen at our church. Wanted to share one of the songs they did that had Carly's little solo in it.

Clay was one of the two shepherds. Apparently in dress rehearsal they did not have their canes and so for the actual performance I don't think he knew what to do with it. Pretty sure he almost tripped a kid and was completely distracted by it. Very entertaining. 

Claire was the prettiest little Angel though for most of the program all you could see were her wings. She spent the majority of the time turned backwards watching the kids singing on stage. My mom took this picture below and said it was from when Carly was singing her solo. Makes my Mama heart happy to see the look on her face watching her sister. 

I watch Carly and just am amazed at her confidence in life. She is 8 years old and has this natural stage presence. She is super shy in person but put her on a stage and she just shines.
