Troy

Every Tuesday we go to Story time at our little library and every week we make new name tags that go with the book we are reading. Clay has started wanting to write his own name like Carly does, even though he is not able to recognize his ABC's much less write them.

So yesterday I left the kids in the story time room while I checked out books and I assumed the librarian helped Clay make his name tag because he was wearing it when I got in.  About 10 minutes later the other moms are calling Clay, Troy. I didn't really think much about it until a mom asked me "How old is Troy." I told her his name was Clay and her eyes darted to his name tag.

Yep..... that's right....... My awesome son wrote all by himself, without meaning to, the name Troy.

We all started laughing and every time I see that name tag on my kitchen counter it makes me smile and chuckle. Only Clay could pull that off so perfectly.
