Ears Pierced

That's right Carly Sue got her ears pierced. We told her that when she turned 5 she could choose to get them.  I feel like you always should be honest with your kids and so she knew that it would hurt and we talked about what to expect.

This morning I spontaneously asked her if she wanted to go to the mall and do it and to my surprise her face lit up and she said yes. We called Mimi (Dylan's mom) to see if she wanted to come along and off we went.

She was so brave the whole time and even after the girls did it, she only smiled.  So so proud of her! She has wanted her hair in a ponytail or a bun all day so that she could show them off. 

We have been looking on the Internet for fun new earrings we can ask Santa for!!

Just when I thought she couldn't get any cuter..... well that's right she got cuter!
