You know those special moments you want to etch in your brain and make sure you never forget. Well, I had one this weekend. It is rare that my family gets together as a group. Everyone is so busy with teenagers, sports and work that making the time and finding time that we are all free is scarce. We decided to do our Christmas gift exchange this past weekend and it was a huge success. I can't even express how much fun I had and how great it was to have 4 hours of play time with my nieces and nephews.

My sister Amy made homemade pizza dough and when we got hungry we just rolled out our own dough and made our own pizza's. It was the best idea and the dough was delicious. The weather was perfect so we played outside almost the whole time.

Mom made Kory his own pizza- cocoa puffs, hot dog, mushrooms, pickles ;) He actually ate it! |
It is crazy to see how old my nieces and nephews are. The oldest is going to graduate and Drew is almost driving. I still remember being in the 6th grade and thinking I was so cool because I was an Aunt. Then as time went on being so excited because the little brother I always wanted was given to me in the form of my nephew Kory. We grew up together and it makes me sad at times that we have started to grow a part.

Claire and Drew's baby pictures look so much alike, can't wait to see how Claire turns out |
Then watching my kids get to interact with their cousins was great to see. There are not any cousins yet on the Thompson side. Unfortunately they will be the youngest on my side and a lot older on the Thompson side. They are all really good with them though and Carly looks up to my niece Samantha (Bugaboo) so much.

It really was a perfect day with my family. I love them all so much and am so blessed to have 3 amazing big sisters!
