Fun Weekend

Great Great Weekend! We started out with our annual trip to Barton Creek Mall to see the Mall decorated and to see the Santa. We don't actually wait in line and talk to him, we just see him from afar. This year we waited a little longer than normal and man was it a mad house. The traffic and parking at the mall was ridiculous. Still worth it!

Sunday we took Carly to her first movie at the theater. We had been telling her about it for weeks so the day finally arrived. We took her to Chipwrecked and she loved it. I was so proud of her, she sat the entire time, no complaining.

That afternoon Dylan's parents church had a Christmas party out at their land. It was so much fun. Santa came, there was a bonfire, carollers, hot chocolate, cookies and hot dogs. Towards the end, some of the middle school girls were doing karaoke and Carly wanted to go sing. She walked up to them and "sang" Joy to the World in front of everyone. I was completely shocked and so proud of her. She does not know the song but she stared at the screen and was mouthing some words into the microphone as if she did. So sad that I didn't have my camera. It was the perfect ending to an amazing weekend.
