So Carly's first fourth of July was a blast. We woke up early for the parade in Round Rock, which come to find out doesn't start until 10, so I was pretty sad that I lost a couple hours of good sleep. We got there early and got a prime spot in the shade, thanks to Gammy Pat and Papa Leland! Carly was so tired by the time the parade started she only watched maybe 15 minutes of it before she feel sound asleep ........

After we got home from the parade Candice came over and hung out which was a great treat. She is my best friend in the whole world but lives in Houston so we don't get to see her as often as we would like.
To be fair Candice gave as much love to Roxy as to Carly but it didn't turn out in her favor. Black pants and Roxy's hair = 
After Candice left Dylan grilled hamburgers and my mom came over. It was delicious! Carly fell asleep early and Dylan and I relaxed and watched TV. A perfect 4th of July!!!!
(We saw fireworks at the Round Rock express game the night before with our friend Joe and Denee and their sweet little girl Paisley aka: Birdie, so were not sad about calling it an early night!)
