Dedication and Harry Potter

Last Saturday we had a dedication ceremony at my Mom's house for Carly and my sister's son Kieran. A good friend of my grandpa's who is a pastor came down from Uvalde and did the dedication. His name is James Hamm and he is also the Pastor that married Dylan and I. He is a great man and we are so blessed to have him in our lives. Our entire family came including all my brothers and sisters and Dylan's parents and brother Mitchell. My "second" parents Pat and Leland were also there. Afterwards we ate hamburgers and hotdogs and swam. It was nice because Carly went down for a nap about the time the swimming started and so I left her in the house with Dylan and I got to enjoy the pool with my older neices and nephews. It had been a while since I was able to really play around since having Carly and I had a blast. After the party my oldest nephew Kory and my neices Drew and Samantha came back to my house and we had a slumber party before going to see Harry Potter on Sunday. We had so much fun. We played board games, hide and seek and watched movies. The next morning we watched Harry Potter to get us in the mood for the movie! I also watched as Kory took a storage tub and tried to slide down the stairs in it. The great aunt that I am allowed him to do it and video taped it. He even put Samantha who is 6 inside it and sent her down it. (he held onto her the whole time.. don't worry!) He got smart eventually and put pillows on the landing in case of a bad fall. Dylan was really upset with me for allowing them to do it, but thankfully no one got hurt and it was a fun memory. We met up with my sisters Amy and Stacy to watch the movie which was PACKED. It is tradition that we all watch it together! So fun and can't wait till the 7th movie!!!!
