We took our first real vacation together this past weekend. We went to the Hyatt Wild Oak Resort in San Antonio. We went with our friends Denee and Joe and their daughter, Carly's best friend, Paisley.
It has a indoor/outdoor pool, big lazy river and plenty of places to lounge. It was a blast, and I think Carly had a pretty good time herself. She wore herself out everyday. We took lots of breaks and got plenty of naps.
We got to try out her new tent for the first time. She really enjoyed it and played it in for a good while before deciding that she was tired of being by herself. I even joined her in it and thought it was fabulous. 
We even had a little beach at the resort which was really cool and Carly got to put her feet in the sand for the first time. She liked to grab it in her hand and it was super quick to get it before it went in her mouth.
She did not care for the cute crab floaty that I bought her. She hated being it for more than a few minutes and preferred the big swimming pool. 
She was very content in the big girl pool. 
We even went to Gruene and had lunch at the Grismill and shopped all day. 
She got tuckered out and Dylan carried her around sound asleep.
