Easter

Don't you just LOVE Easter?! I definitely do!  This year it was nothing less than perfect. 

We go to Dylan's Aunt and Uncle's house every Saturday before Easter. It has become one of my most favorite traditions and the kids look forward to it every year. This year the guys decided to shot squirrels out of trees and it seems Clay decided to go and fetch them. So yes this is a dead squirrel that my sweet boy is holding. So Gross!

Dylan's Uncle got the best catch though..........a turtle. 

Then Sunday after church we go to my mom's for lunch and time with my sisters families.

I love my born into and my married into family so much and feel like the most blessed person. Love all the memories that my kids are getting to make with family. 

On another note I finally bought the resurrection eggs this year to do with the kids. They were so much fun and the kids loved doing it. We did 2 a day the week before Easter and I was amazed at how much the kids retained and were able to understand about the Death and Resurrection.  Clay has been asking tons of questions lately and he has really been trying to understand how God and Jesus are the same person but different. Pretty sure we have the conversation multiple times a day. With the way he is going I can seriously picture him being a pastor one day.
