We started with the rehearsal dinner Friday night at the Oasis. I hadn't been there since before the fire and the atmosphere is even better than I remember. It was a fun little date night with all of our friends.
Saturday we did a small bachelorette party with just the bridal party. We went to the nail salon and did mani/pedi's, ate lunch and then did a lingerie shower back at her parents house. Seriously the best day. You know how sometimes you have to be in a wedding and are not big fans of the other girls, well I loved all the girls and we had such a great time.
I asked the girls to wear the most ridiculous little purple hats and they were super good sports. We had Chrissy's niece with us so everything had to be super "clean" which was good for me because I wouldn't know the first thing about throwing a "dirty" party.
We had a great lunch at Dahlia's, which if you haven't been you have to go to! It's in Liberty Hill and is so good!
Then we came back for the lingerie shower. I had them play "Kiss the Cowboy." We put on red lipstick and a blind fold and then had to try to get as close to the Cowboys lips as possible.
This game was hilarious, one person had toilet paper between their legs and the other had a pool cue. You had to get the cue into the hole. First one to do it wins. So so funny!
The whole gang!

The wedding was Sunday afternoon and we had way too much fun before the wedding even started. Chrissy had gotten us all these blue shirts monogrammed with our initials.
There is always at least one crazy bridesmaid and this was her. She was so much fun, I found myself just cracking up anytime she was around. Chrissy wanted us to dance down the stairs when they introduced us but we were all a little scared, so we practiced before hand.
I am pretty sure that the little flower girl stole my heart this weekend. She was beyond precious and we became BFF's over the weekend. Think I danced more with her than anyone else at the wedding.
This was the first wedding that I have been a part of that was so low stress the day of the wedding. We got our hair done early and then we just got to relax. We helped out and otherwise just got to play.
I unfortunately didn't get a great one of the bride and groom but isn't her dress amazing. Like breath taking. People always tell brides that they are the most beautiful bride ever but I have to say that Chrissy was breathtaking. From the dress to the makeup to the hair. She had the whole package!
Always such an honor to be a part of someone special day. I am just so thankful for my amazing friend Chrissy and for her trusting me to be her Matron of Honor. Being in a wedding is stressful but after this weekend I can honestly say every second was worth it.
