CLAIRE
Claire has officially been walking for a month now. Much like everything else she does, it is super cute.
Now if I could just get her to start talking. The kid just screams about everything. Sure she has two older sibling who don't ever stop talking but she is going to make me go gray a little earlier than I would like.
So hard to ever really get mad at her though because she has a little smile that just melts you.
She is still a little peanut wearing 6-9 month clothes, but we are getting close to outgrowing them finally.
BUB
So Bub is still Bub. He has started mimicking everything that Dylan does. He wears this old Wrangler shirt that is too small for him now as his "work shirt" and will put on his cowboy boots and go to work at Atmos with his Daddy and "Pony" (a guy Dylan works with). Dylan brought him home a hard hat and an orange safety vest to use around the house making his work day a little more real. The other day we were in church and I looked over at Clay standing next to Dylan with his hands in his pockets swaying to the music just like Dylan was. He was looking up at Dylan with this look of complete love and you can just tell that Dylan is his hero.
Makes me so happy that he wants to be just like Daddy because if he turns out half as good as his Dad than he will be a pretty amazing man.
Gotta love how anything can be a horse! |
CARLY
Carly's new obsession is the library. We finally went and got a library card here in Burnet and literally go every other day almost.
She loves gardening and helping my Mom with her flowers. My mom also introduced her to Candy Crush on the computer and she is just as addicted as everyone else in America.
She still wants to only wear dresses (or skirts) like all her favorite princesses and asks to change her clothes at least 3x a day. She is a super girly girl.
Even though she isn't doing an actual pre-school this year we are going to go school clothes/supplies shopping this weekend and the first thing she asked is if she could get a few more dresses. :)
We have recently been letting her go Sunday School at church and she loves it. I think I am going to have a much harder time with her starting kindergarten next year than she is.
We are scheduled to close next week on the house and I am ridiculously excited. I can't wait to have the keys and to get to start transforming it into our home.
