I have always wanted to buy an old house and fix it up but am not handy at all and never thought it was something I would ever actually do. Then Dylan brought me to an estate sale where the house was for sale as well. Lets just say I completely fell in love! We threw building a new house out the door and decided to buy it. It sits on 1.3 acres in town, on a dead end street. Perfect place for our kids to play in the front or back yard without a constant stream of traffic. Oh and did I mention it is EXACTLY 1 mile from my Mama's house! ;)
It is just awesome. There is tons of work to do on it but Dylan and I are so excited to start this journey in making it our home. We should hopefully close in a month!!!
Here is a sneak peak of the front porch.....that's all you get for now. Can't wait to do room reveals as we get them updated!!
Wendy, that is awesome! I would send the hubs over to help with flipping the house, but it would never be complete. . . my kitchen is still being worked on and that was going on back when I first moved out here! Anyway, I am excited to see the progress :)
