Backyard Project

For over a year we have had plans to fix up our backyard and have kept putting it off. We finally decided to go ahead and start. We went today and got tons of bushes, plants and some landscaping edging to make the kids a play area with all their toys in one spot.  Dylan also scored a huge new tree to go in the kids play area for shade. I took some before pictures and will show the progress as we continue to get it finished hopefully in the next couple weeks.


We literally stayed outside all day. Carly bought a new watering can at Lowe's and watered the entire front and back yard with it.

 Then she "helped" Dylan spread all the new mulch in the flower beds.

Here are the before pictures of our yard. We have tons of space! 

We moved all the kids toys into the back corner where it is more shaded and out of the way.  Now all there stuff is right next to each other and we are going to mulch it etc so it is more kid friendly. 

Dylan's little brother, "Moose," normally comes on Sundays and hangs with us and I couldn't resist taking the best picture of the day....... sunbathing on the little trampoline! Priceless

While Dylan worked I sat in a chair and took pictures, Carly watered all the new plants and Clay was well........ just Clay.
