Carly informed me this morning that when she grows up she wants to be a rain cloud. Really?? A rain cloud?? I have been confused all morning, because I have not taught her about rain clouds or even know where she would have learned/heard that. Fast forward to now, we are watching Sid the Science Kid (comes on PBS and is the cutest show EVER) and they sing a song about rain clouds, and one of the kids pretends to be one. Now it makes perfect sense and why wouldn't you want to be a raincloud?
Then she tells me that she has a beard and that her Uncle Moose is going to come over and play with it. Dylan's little brother Wes, who we all call Moose has a beard and Carly's favorite thing to do is to sit in his lap and play with it. She talks about it all the time and gets excited for him to come over so she can play with his beard, so it was hilarious when she wanted to return the favor to Moose. Hopefully she won't really be able to grow a beard but if so, then she will really be able to fulfill my dream of having my first born in the circus!
On the mention of the Circus, Cirque du Soleil is in town. I have seen 5 of them so far and seriously want to see all of the ones offered in North America. It is another one of my obsessions. Unfortunately we are not going to be able to go to this one and it really sucks because it has jump rope in it, which is another one of my favorite things!!!! Here's hoping that it makes it's way back to Leander in the next few years.
