Jojo is One!!!!

OK lets just be real here...... Clint is the best thing in the world. 

He is cute, sweet and cuddly and has the best little personality. His little giggle just melts me into a puddle. I have been in a little bit of a funk this week because my last little baby is no longer a baby. He walks around the house like he owns the place and gets into everything. 

I call him Jojo on the go-go. The poor kid will never know his real name. Everyone calls him Jojo......... most of our friends, the librarians and all his siblings. When I do call him Clint, it feels really weird.  Hoping he grows into his name one day but for now I love his nickname and it fits him so perfectly.

Here are a few of the best things about Jojo man:

1. He steals Q-tips from under our bathroom sink. They are little treasures for him. He steals them, pretends to use them and then runs when you try to take them away.

2.  He can climb the slide on Clay's bed and if left alone in the room will be at the top of the loft within seconds. He thinks it is hilarious and will laugh the whole way up and then is so proud of himself.  He loves to lay up there and scare me so bad by standing up. Insanity.

3.  He loves food: blueberries, strawberries, pears, peaches, mandarin oranges and grapes.  Pretty much all fruits.  He can eat 2 PB&J in one sitting and loves cheese balls. Definitely is my kid! Oh and lets not forget the ice cream that he steals from everyone. He will scream until someone gives him a bite.

4.  He likes to hide in the dirty clothes hampers built into the bathrooms. Its a great hiding place, I remember hiding in them as a little kid. So happy we have an old house so our kids get to experience them.

5.  He hates baths, like hates them. Will stand up the entire time, so they basically last a total of 2 minutes. BUT give the kid a water hose and he is in heaven.

6.  He loves to steal pens and pencils. It is the first thing that he grabs when Dylan gets home from work. I catch him stealing them from the school room area all day long. Just when I think they are all put up, he somehow finds another one.

 

7.  He has learned that if he blows into the recorder it makes an amazing noise. I have to hide it during the day because he will walk around with it and just drive me crazy. He loves it though and will look at me and laugh. 

 His actual birthday was Thursday. It was wet and nasty and the present we got him was for outside, so I was pretty sad we weren't able to give it to him. My Mom saved the day and came over and gave him her present. His favorite thing ever is balls and he was so excited when he opened it. Just kept saying "ball" over and over and chasing it.

 

It was super low key with just our family. We ate hot dogs and brownies and went to bed early.  Perfect little first birthday. He is having a joint party with little Bear next weekend so the fun is only starting.  

He is just my favorite little thing. I am so thankful for him and the happiness he brings our family.
