Ice bucket Challenge, letter M, and a 4 year old.

Ok so I am seriously just in amazement at the Ice Bucket challenge. I mean who comes up with this stuff? Either way this week after not really seeing the news or being on Facebook I found out through  my Mama who had been nominated to do the challenge by my niece Drew.  She came to our house so that we could dump the water on her. It was actually pretty funny and the kids had a great time doing it. Then I got a call from one of the Librarians asking if we would come and dump the water on them because they too had excepted a challenge. We of course said yes and along with a couple friends helped the librarians.

We learned all about the letter M and the moon last week. Pretty sure this was Carly's favorite activity... making the phases of the moon with Oreo cookies. Might have been my favorite too. :)

Then Saturday we got to celebrate Bub turning 4. I mean wowza, he is 4 years old. We let him take his birthday money to Toys r Us and Barnes and Nobles.  He was super smart and got a bunch of little things and even ended up with a couple dollars left over. Then we took him to Gatti-land for a pizza dinner.  We let him invite one friend to eat with us and of course picked his friend Hayes. We did the same thing last year and last year he picked Hayes too.

He has not quit playing with this toy. Wakes up and plays with it and we have to pry it out of his hand for bedtime. My mom got him a Lego set and I can't even tell you how much I love it to. Never had the little Lego's when I was a kid. Can't imagine life without a little boy to build stuff with and to have sword fights with.

The big kids had just as much fun playing the games at Gatti-land. Pretty sure Pops even got on a ride with Clay. I am in love with this picture of Dylan, Clay and Pops.

Claire was super tuckered out and pretty much slept right through the fun.

Clay holding all his toys he bought with his money from Grandma and Grandpa.

It was a great week.  Getting ready for his 4 year well check this week.  Can't wait to see how he measures up.
