Our first Halloween

Our first Halloween was the BEST! I had a blast and was so excited all day. Holiday like this are definitely better when you have a baby to enjoy it with. Carly dressed in her candy corn shirt given to her by "grandma" Mauck to show her Halloween spirit during the day! :) We spent most of the day fixing our outside decorations and just playing and patiently waiting!!! Dylan's parents- Mimi and Pops- came over to give Carly a Halloween treat which was inside the cutest Halloween bucket that looked like Mickey Mouse... Carly's favorite cartoon :) I dressed Carly in a sun costume this year because MY nickname for her is sunshine (Dylan's is worm........) and I knew that she probably wouldn't pick that in the future, so I wanted it for pictures.

My mom wasn't able to come over.. which was a huge bummer so we called her on our web cam so that she could see Carly's outfit

We met up with our good friends the Labays and we all went trick or treating together. They have the cutest little 4 year old boy named Cole that I seriously want to steal. He is so hilarious and is so much fun to talk to! He was dressed as a fireman and sadly i didn't get a picture of him but he looked super cute! They have another little boy that is close to Carly's age.

We also got a visit from The Maucks (who are now our neighbors!!) and from Lindsey and her kids so were dressed as clowns.. once again super cute! After trick or treating we all just sat inside and played.

Dylan sat most of the evening with Karlea's clown hair on his head...... total goofball :)

For our first Halloween with Carly it was a blast! I love this goofy holiday and can't wait till next year when Carly will be able to walk and can participate more!
