We decided that we wanted to do something fun for labor day so we settled on the Cameron Park Zoo in Waco. I know that Carly can't really participate yet but it was still something cheap and fun that we could all 3 do together. We were really surprised at how nice and well kept it was. Much better than we had expected. By noon we were hungry and thankfully had reached the end of the tour because it was super hot. We were fed and back on the road by 12:30. It made for a great memory and a tradition that we will probably keep up for labor days to come.
This is a picture of Bison. It is hard to see but they are in the background, right next to a real tee pee! :)
Here are the lions. All the animals were being super lazy today. 
Carly was trying to touch the snake!! Gives me chills just thinking about them.
And here are the great leopards. They had the most action out of all the animals. I think they almost got into a fight.
