We went to Galveston this last weekend so Carly could experience the beach for the first time. We had such a great time. We drove up Friday morning and met my best friend and her boyfriend Kris. We stayed at the Hilton Resort which was amazing. We ate at the rain forest cafe on Friday night which was over an hour wait and by the time we got in there Carly was exhausted so she didn't really get to enjoy it. We woke up early Saturday and ate breakfast at IHOP and then went to the beach. 
Carly loved sitting in the sand and playing with it. I also found that she liked to eat it as well. No biggie it's good for her right :) She only lasted about an hour or so and was ready to get out of there. We went back to the hotel and stayed in the hotel pool the rest of the afternoon. Carly even took a nap on my shoulder in the pool. Don't worry Candice and I made sure she was covered and had plenty of sun screen. Later that day we had a great surprise because Candice's mom and little brother had driven in from Winnie to come visit with us. Mrs. Barker got to meet Carly for the first time and Carly just loved her. I am pretty sure Mrs. Barker thought she was pretty great too :)
It was the best trip and we had such a wonderful time. Carly was a little angel the entire trip and really looked like she was having fun. We can't wait to go back next year when she can walk and can play in the sand with us. Oh... and I almost forget..... she officially started crawling at the hotel on Friday night!! How exciting...... I have a crawler!!!!!!! :)
