Getting ready for the Big day!

This has bee such a fun Christmas season for our family. A couple weekends ago we went to Christmas on the Square where the kids got to take a picture with the Grinch and Cindy Lou. Bear was terrified of him and thought best to stay in her stroller.

Then we watched the parade and ate snow cones. Can't beat living in Texas where snow cones and  Santa go together.

Then we got to make Stocking with Santa at the library. All the kids loved him!

The best children's librarian ever.

No Christmas is complete without Sugar cookies for Santa.  Normally I am not a huge fan of sugar cookies, even with icing smothered on them but this year I found a new recipe that is incredible. Melt in your mouth eat like 5 at a time delicious!

Then this past weekend we took the kids to San Saba's square to eat dinner and to drive through their trail of lights. It is seriously awesome. You tune the radio to a certain station and the lights dance to the music. The kids loved it so much we had to drive through it twice!  They also had Santa and Mrs. Claus on the square along with a live nativity scene. Best part of San Saba..... No Lines!! We literally walked right up to Santa and there was no traffic for the lights.

Hope you all have a Blessed and Merry Christmas!
