I took him for his 3 year check up with a new Doctor in Marble Falls and instead of being shy, he talked the poor Dr's ear off the whole time. She asked him if he knew what a stranger was and after a 3 minutes conversation about strangers he looked at her super serious and said, "A bear is a stranger." To which she laughed and told him that, "Yes you never want to go anywhere with a bear." Then he thought it was a good time to tell her about bears and caves and his favorite book, Going on a Bear Hunt. Love that kid.
Here are a few things about Bub:
- He wears boots all day long. Doesn't matter what he is wearing... shorts, pajama's, jeans, or his swimsuit. To him, boots go with everything.
- He loves Super Hero's, Ninja Turtles and Jake and the Neverland Pirates and pretends to be one of the three through out the day.
- He loves to watch Veggie tales, it is his movie of choice most days; and most of his drawing are either Bob or Larry.
- He loves going to the Library to pick out books about pirates or scary monsters and enjoys Story time every Tuesday morning.
- He loves puzzles, and doesn't them at least a few times a day.
- He loves his sisters. Loves to tackle Carly and loves to play peek-a-boo with Claire. He is a super awesome little and big brother and is going to be a great protector of the two of them one day.
- He thinks that his Dad is the best thing in the whole world. Dylan is his hero and he wants to be just like him.
For his actual birthday we had a great day. We ate donuts in the morning, went to the little splash pad here in Burnet, ate his favorite PB&J for lunch and then took him to Gattiland at dinner for pizza and games. His best friend Hayes got to come too which made it a perfect birthday.
Then he got to have a Super Hero party with his other friends and family.
So blessed to have him as our son. He is the biggest mess but I wouldn't change a thing about him. He makes me laugh so hard and gives the best hugs.
This makes me excited to have boys!!!
